 Songs that fit your voice
We offer many songs in two different keys, so you can pick the one that fits your voice better. Or pick the one that is easier to play. We do the transposing for you, so you don’t have to do it yourself. Â
Songs with the information you need
All our songs come with a suggested strumming pattern. And with melody tab underneath. We put the chords stamps at the top of the song, so you can practice the chord changes before you learn the song.

Songs that have tab melodies
All our songs have tab melodies underneath. You’ll learn how to read this. We have a unique way of explaining the numbers on the lines underneath the music. You will be able to figure out how to play melodies without reading music.

Fancy Strumming Patterns
Fingerpicking Accompaniments
You’ll learn how to read fingerpicked accompaniments. We write out the tab in below the staff, making it easier to figure out what to play.
Some of our songs have a written-out fingerpicked accompaniment. That gives you some variety in the way you can choose to play the song.
Fancy Strumming Patterns
You’ll learn two new strumming patterns in 4/4 time. They are the Down, Down-Up, Down-Down-up and the Island Strum. Here is what they look like. These patterns work great for folk music. You can also start applying them to other styles of music too.

1. Down, Down-Up, Down, Down-Up Strum

2. The Island Strum (Down, Down-Up, Up-Down-Up)

We also present songs in triple meter (3/4 time) so you get a special strumming pattern for that.
As my granddaughter is learning to play the UKE, I got the bug and wanted to learn too! I started researching online and found Rebecca and Jenny’s books and bought one! They make the learning easy and fun! The books along with the online videos have been fabulous! It is so fun to play with my granddaughter. One of us strums and the other picks the melody. I really feel that their methods (books and online tutorials) have made all the difference! If you are thinking about learning to play, this is the way!
Instruction on the more difficult chords
We have videos in our online course that teach you how to play these chords. We show you how to move your hand on the ukulele so your chords can be clear-sounding and vibrant.

Learning chord melody. You’ll play easy, full-sounding music.
You want music that sounds complete without singing. We offer three-chord melodies. You can play easy, full-sounding music where you combine both the melody and the chords. Chord melody is the art of combining both the melody and the chords in the same arrangement.

Music to play with others  Â
All of our songs have melody tab written underneath. They have lyrics and a suggest strumming pattern. You can jam with a friend by having one person strum the chords and the other one play the melody.
A video course to teach you how to play the songs
Each song has an accompanying video lesson to teach you how it goes. We also teach you the needed skills to play the songs.
